Description

Mahogany logs are logs cut from mahogany trees in RuneScape 3. Cutting them requires level 60 Woodcutting and gives 125 experience per log. Each log weighs 1.36 kg.

These logs have many uses. With level 50 Firemaking, players can burn them for 157.5 experience, or 170.3 experience when added to a bonfire. They can also be fletched into a mahogany stock, which is used to make an adamant crossbow. Their most popular use is making mahogany planks. Planks can be made at the sawmill, with the level 86 Lunar spell Plank Make for 1050 coins, or with a portable sawmill for 1350 coins. Each plank gives 140 Construction experience and is needed for many high level Construction items.

Mahogany trees grow in places like the Tai Bwo Wannai hardwood grove, the Kharazi Jungle, Ape Atoll, and near Mos Le'Harmless. Players who finish Royal Trouble can also have their subjects on Etceteria collect these logs.

Mahogany logs are free-to-play items, but free players can only get them by trading. This makes buying them a fast and simple way to stock up for training Firemaking, Fletching, or Construction.
