Description
Malevolent greaves are tier 90 Melee power armour in RuneScape 3. They fit in the legs slot and are part of the malevolent armour set. You need level 90 Defence to wear them.
As power armour, the greaves boost your damage. They give 479 armour, a damage bonus of 28.1, a prayer bonus of 2, and 2.3625% PvP damage reduction. This makes them a strong pick for high level melee combat.
The greaves last for 100,000 charges of combat before they degrade to nothing. They cannot be repaired, and they become untradeable once you equip them. If you die in the Wilderness while wearing them, some malevolent energy drops on death based on the charges left. This can refund much of their cost.
Players can also make these greaves at level 92 Smithing by combining 28 malevolent energy with two reinforcing plates at an anvil. This grants 1,000 Smithing experience.
The greaves can be dyed with Barrows, Shadow, Third Age, Blood, or Ice dye. Dyed versions do not crumble when they fully degrade. Instead, they can be repaired with malevolent energy, so they last much longer.
