The Malevolent helm is a tier 90 Melee power armour piece in RuneScape 3. It is part of the malevolent armour set. You need level 90 Defence to wear it. This helm gives strong stats for Melee combat. It has an armour rating of 435, a prayer bonus of 2, and a damage bonus that boosts your hits.
The helm is made by combining 14 malevolent energy with a reinforcing plate. This takes level 91 Smithing. It lasts for 100,000 charges of combat before it degrades to nothing. It cannot be repaired. Once you equip it, the helm becomes untradeable, even if you have not used it in a fight.
You can dye the helm with Barrows, Shadow, Third-Age, Blood, or Ice dye. Dyed versions do not crumble when fully degraded. Instead, they can be repaired with malevolent energy.
If you die in the Wilderness while wearing it, some malevolent energy drops on death. The amount matches how many charges are left. The reinforcing plate is not returned.
