Description

The Malletops purpura (unchecked) is a rare dinosaur item in RuneScape 3. It is a Malletops purpura for your player owned farm. Check it to see what traits it has. This is a members-only item that you can trade and note.

Once checked, the Malletops purpura becomes a dinosaur you can raise on the Anachronia Dinosaur Farm. It needs a large pen and a Farming level of 117. It eats raw meat and makes spark chitin and muck. Each harvest gives 85 spark chitin. You can sell adult dinosaurs to Mesalina, the malletops master.

This dinosaur is also great for Farming XP. Checking an adult gives 52,500 XP, and checking an elder gives 78,750 XP. You can breed it with any type of malletops, with an 80% chance of success each breeding cycle.

Getting this item on your own is very hard. It only drops while skilling in the Dream of Iaia, at a rate of 1 in 40,800. Buying one skips that long grind. Keep in mind the item is always lost on death, and once you release the dinosaur, you cannot get it back.
