Description
The Marasamaw plant is a members-only Hunter item in RuneScape 3. It works like a box trap. Players lay it on the ground to catch jadinkos in the Herblore Habitat and on Anachronia. If the trap catches a jadinko, it becomes a shaking Marasamaw plant. If it fails, it becomes a wilted Marasamaw plant.
Jadinkos give good Hunter XP. In the Herblore Habitat, catches range from the common jadinko at level 70 for 200 XP up to god jadinkos at level 81. Many jadinkos also drop useful vines, like the withered vine, marble vine, and draconic vine. On Anachronia, catches start at level 80 and go up to the draconic jadinko at level 90 for 554 XP.
The Marasamaw plant is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs almost nothing at 0.001 kg. It has a buy limit of 100 on the Grand Exchange. It can also be disassembled for Invention, giving simple parts most of the time and variable components on rare rolls. This item is a must-have for players training Hunter with jadinkos or gathering vines for Herblore Habitat activities.
