Description

The masterwork ranged cowl is a tier 100 ranged power armour piece for the head slot in RuneScape 3. It needs level 99 Defence to wear and is members only. The cowl gives 553 armour, 100 damage, a 950 life point bonus, and a prayer bonus of 2. It also gives a small PvP damage reduction.

The cowl is part of the masterwork ranged armour set. When you wear three or more pieces, some of the damage you take is delayed and dealt over the next 6 seconds. Each piece delays 10% of incoming damage, up to 50% with all five pieces. This helps you survive big hits and works in PvP too.

The cowl degrades over 100,000 charges of combat and can be repaired with a masterwork monochromatic dragon leather. You can also have it custom-fit by the Master Crafter in the Crafting Guild. A custom-fit cowl lasts 200,000 charges and does not degrade against slayer targets, Soul Reaper tasks, or in elite dungeons, but it becomes untradeable.

Crafting this cowl yourself takes level 110 Crafting, rare materials, and about an hour of work. Buying it saves you all that time and effort.
