Description
The Masterwork staff is a tier 100 magic weapon in RuneScape 3. It needs level 99 Magic to wield. It came out with the 2025 Runecrafting update. It is one of the strongest staves in the game, with 1440 ability damage and 3100 accuracy.
The staff has a passive effect called Masterworked Mending. It heals you for 2% of the damage you deal. This works on basic attacks, abilities, bleeds, and burns. The healing has no cap. Even if a hit goes past the 30,000 damage cap, the heal is based on the full damage before the cap.
Making this staff yourself is a long job. It needs level 110 Runecrafting, the Crafting to Your Own Rune achievement, and a huge pile of resources. These include thousands of runes, pure essence, eternal magic logs, a glorious bar, and essence from breaking down other high level magic weapons.
The staff can be augmented and traded. It degrades over 100,000 charges and costs up to 800,000 coins to repair. With its strong stats and self-healing effect, it is a great pick for long fights and high level bosses.
