Description
The Glorious bar is a metal bar in RuneScape 3 used to make masterwork equipment. It takes level 99 Smithing to create one. Each glorious bar is needed to smith a single masterwork plate, which is a key step toward masterwork armour.
Making a glorious bar from scratch is a long job. It starts with 50 of each of the 10 core bars, from bronze up to elder rune. These are smelted into concentrated alloy bars, then enriched alloy bars, and then one immaculate alloy bar. That bar is smithed into a partially folded alloy bar and folded 1,001 times at an anvil. The full process takes about 20 minutes per bar.
Glorious bars have many uses beyond masterwork armour. They are needed for the masterwork Spear of Annihilation, the masterwork bow, glorious silvthril chains for the blessed flask, and the artificer's measure. They also upgrade custom-fit trimmed masterwork armour into its spiked form. When smelted with primal bars, they become primed glorious bars for the masterwork 2h sword.
