Description

The meat pie is a classic food item in RuneScape 3. It takes two bites to eat. Each bite heals 250 life points, so one pie heals 500 in total. When you eat the first half, you keep half a meat pie in your inventory to eat later. This makes it a handy food for new players and low level training.

Meat pies are tradeable and can be noted, so it is easy to carry many of them at once. Each full pie weighs 0.45 kg. The pie is not members only, so free players can use it too.

Players can also make meat pies with the Cooking skill. It takes level 20 Cooking and gives 110 experience. You need a pie dish, pastry dough, and cooked meat. Any cooked meat or chicken works. Bake it on a range, or use the Bake Pie spell at level 65 Magic. The pie stops burning at level 53 Cooking.

Meat pies are also used for a Kili equipment upgrade task to bring Deathwarden robes to tier 40. As the item says, it is not for vegetarians.
