Pastry dough is a cooking item in RuneScape 3. It is the first step in making pies. Players make it by mixing a pot of flour with water. The water can come from a jug, a bucket, a bowl, or a water source. Making pastry dough gives 1 Cooking experience.
Once you have pastry dough, use it on a pie dish to make a pie shell. Then add a filling to the shell. The filling changes based on the type of pie you want to make. After that, cook the uncooked pie on a range to finish it.
Pastry dough is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, and carry in bulk as notes. It is not stackable in its normal form. It weighs 0.17 kg. The item is not members-only, so free-to-play players can use it too. It has been in the game since 17 March 2001.
