The Monk's robe top is a Saradominist robe worn in the body slot in RuneScape 3. It gives a prayer bonus of 6, which helps your active prayers drain more slowly. It has no combat requirements, so any player can wear it. It gives no armour, damage, or accuracy bonuses.
This robe top gives the second-highest prayer bonus for free players. Only the holy symbol beats it. Because it is cheap, easy to get, and needs no stats, many players like it for PVP. It has a matching robe bottom, and the top gives 1 more prayer bonus than the bottom.
You can find the robe top as an item spawn on a table in the Monastery of Saradomin near Edgeville. It also drops from level 35 Icefiends. The item is tradeable and not stackable, and it weighs 0.907 kg.
Since it is a Saradominist item, it has special effects in some places. Wearing it in the God Wars Dungeon calms Saradominist minions. It turns the Kharidian Desert Bandit Camp bandits aggressive. It also changes you into an animal in the Castle Wars waiting room if you enter the green or red portal.
