The Myre snelm (pointed) is a snail helmet in RuneScape 3. It is made from the shell of a Myre Blamish Snail found in Mort Myre swamp. The word snelm means snail helm. This one has a pointed shape and comes in the myre colour.
The snelm's main use is protection. It reduces damage taken from giant snails in Mort Myre. It has no combat requirements, so any player can wear it. It provides 0 armour and weighs 2 kg. It is a members item that is tradeable, equipable, and noteable.
Players can also make this snelm with the Crafting skill. It requires level 15 Crafting, a chisel, and one pointed blamish myre shell. Each snelm made grants 32.5 Crafting experience. This makes snelms a useful step in low to mid level Crafting training. Snelms sell for 90 coins at general stores.
The snelm can be disassembled under the Clothing category. It can produce Cover parts, Simple parts, Padded parts, or Variable components. The item was added to the game on 14 October 2004. Its name gained the word pointed in 2018 to set it apart from the round version.
