Description

Nightmare gauntlets are tier 85 Ranged power gloves in RuneScape 3. They drop from nightmares and need level 85 Ranged to wear. They give 96.2 armour and a 13.2 damage bonus, making them a strong pick for Ranged builds.

The gloves have a passive effect called Steady Hands. It boosts your hit chance by 25% when you use the Snipe ability. It also lets you use Snipe while moving. This makes Snipe much easier to fit into your combat rotation.

The gauntlets degrade over 60,000 charges of combat. You can repair them for 300,000 coins at a repair NPC, or for less at an armour stand or whetstone. The discount is 0.5% per Smithing level. Once worn, the gloves become untradeable, but repairing them makes them tradeable again.

You can also upgrade them later. Combine the gauntlets with 1,000 Glacor remnants and a Leng artefact to make Enhanced nightmare gauntlets. This needs level 90 Crafting and grants 5,000 Crafting experience.
