Description
Nutritious honeycomb is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is used at the player-owned farm. When you feed it to a farm animal, its next offspring has a better chance of being born with the Immune trait. Animals with this trait resist disease. The honeycomb does not work on eggs or diseased animals.
Players make this honeycomb by putting hydrangeas into a beehive at the Manor Farm. This needs Farming level 55. Each flower makes one honeycomb, and it takes about one hour. Harvesting gives 77 Farming experience. You need insect repellent in your backpack or on your tool belt to collect it. Without it, you take 20 life points of damage and get nothing. You can also make it by combining 24 honeycomb shards at Farming level 1.
After you feed this honeycomb to an animal, you cannot feed it a Fertile, Candied, Moreish, or Shimmering honeycomb until it produces offspring. The item is tradeable and weighs nothing. It can be disassembled for Simple parts or, rarely, Variable components. It also counts toward the Honey, Honey achievement, which asks you to feed one of each honeycomb to a farm animal.
