Description

Olive oil (3) is a members item in RuneScape 3 used in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame. This version holds 3 doses of oil. The item is tradeable and noteable, and it stacks only when noted.

Olive oil is the key item for making sacred oil. Sacred oil is used to prepare pyre logs, which players burn to lay shades to rest. To make sacred oil, players first help restore the Temple of Mort'ton, which sits north-east of the town. Once the temple is rebuilt, players light the altar in the centre and use olive oil on the fire. This turns the olive oil into sacred oil. The process uses sanctity, and players need at least 10% sanctity to do it. Sanctity comes from rebuilding the temple or killing shades.

Olive oil comes in 1, 2, 3, and 4 dose versions. The 3 dose version weighs 0.03 kg. The item can also be disassembled, giving mostly Simple parts with a rare chance of Variable components. Olive oil was added to the game on 18 October 2004 and remains a core supply for anyone playing Shades of Mort'ton.
