The ring fits in the ring slot and has no level or combat requirements to wear. On its own, it gives no damage, accuracy, armour, or prayer bonuses. Its real value comes from what it can become.
Members can enchant the ring with the Lvl-6 Enchant spell to turn it into a ring of fortune. Players can also imbue it at Soul Wars through Zimberfizz or Zanik for 8 zeal. This makes the onyx ring (i), a strong all-class ring with an armour rating of 22.6 and a damage bonus of 26.2 for melee, ranged, magic, and Necromancy.
The ring can also be disassembled for Invention. It gives 20.1 disassembly experience and can yield delicate parts, connector parts, smooth parts, precious components, and enhancing components. This makes the Onyx ring useful for combat upgrades, enchanting, and training.
