Orange chunks are a food item in RuneScape 3. They are fresh chunks of orange, made by using a knife on an orange. Making them needs only level 1 Cooking and gives 1 Cooking experience. They are a members only item.
Eating orange chunks heals 20 life points. But their real value is in gnome cooking. They are a key ingredient in the Blurberry Special, a cocktail that needs level 37 Cooking and gives 150 experience. They are also used to make a half made fruit batta at level 25 Cooking. Players working on gnome cooking recipes often need a good supply of them.
Orange chunks are also a required item in the Eadgar's Ruse quest, so quest players want them too.
The item is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs only 0.09 kg. It can be disassembled for Invention, giving mostly Organic parts, with small chances of Crafted parts, Living components, Healthy components, and Enhancing components. Buying orange chunks saves time on slicing oranges, so players can get straight to cooking, questing, or training.
