Description

The Orikalkum hatchet is a members hatchet in RuneScape 3. It is stronger than the rune hatchet. Players use it to chop trees with the Woodcutting skill. It can also be used as a melee weapon in combat.

You need level 60 Woodcutting to chop trees with it. You need level 60 Attack to wield it as a weapon. In combat it is a tier 60 slash weapon with 1132 accuracy. It sits in the main hand slot. Hatchets from Orikalkum to Bane give a 10 percent better chance to chop wood, so this is a solid step up from the rune hatchet, which only gives 5 percent.

The Orikalkum hatchet can be stored on your tool belt. This saves inventory space while you train Woodcutting, and you can take it back out at any time. Like all hatchets, it can also slash webs.

This item is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It can be disassembled with the Invention skill for parts such as blade parts, head parts, and strong components. Players with level 60 Smithing can also make one at an anvil using one Orikalkum bar for 350 Smithing experience.
