Description
The platinum stone spirit is a Mining item in RuneScape 3. It looks like a strange wisp-like creature. When you mine platinum ore with a platinum stone spirit in your inventory, the spirit is used up and you get one extra platinum ore. This doubles the ore you gain from each rock.
The extra ore does not give extra Mining experience. The spirits are stackable and tradeable, and you can store them in an ore box of the same or higher tier. If you use a sign of the porter, one spirit and one porter charge are used, and both ores go straight to your bank.
Platinum stone spirits work well with a perfect juju mining potion. While that potion is active, each spirit you use fully restores your mining stamina. This makes them great for AFK mining sessions.
In the game, these spirits drop from monsters like tormented demons, wyverns, airuts, and bosses such as Nex, Angel of Death and Solak. You can also find them while mining platinum rocks with a juju mining potion active. Buying them saves you the time spent hunting for drops.
