Poison slime is a secondary Herblore ingredient in RuneScape 3. It is a toxic slime collected from poisonous frogs and dinosaurs. This members-only item comes from creatures on the Ranch Out of Time, such as poison frogs, cactoads, and venomous dinosaurs.

Poison slime is used to make some of the best potions in the game. It is needed for weapon poison+++, which requires level 100 Herblore and gives 700 XP per potion. Weapon poison+++ is the strongest weapon poison in the game. It gives a 12.5% chance per hit to poison your target, and it works even better with cinderbane gloves.

Poison slime is also used to make poison bombs at level 99 Herblore and Powerbursts of vitality at level 105 Herblore. These recipes mix the slime with primal extract and other ingredients.

Farming poison slime yourself takes time. Frogs drop only 15 slime each, and dinosaurs drop 60. Buying poison slime lets you skip the grind and get right to training Herblore or stocking up on strong combat potions.
