Description

The Polypore staff is a two-handed magic weapon in RuneScape 3. It needs level 75 Magic to wield. It is a tier 75 staff with 1,694 magic accuracy and 1,080 ability damage. The staff is imbued with power from the fungi growing on it.

This staff can cast regular spells. It can also cast its own special spell called Polypore Strike. This spell needs level 80 Magic and does not use any runes. It counts as an air spell and works on all spellbooks. It is even the only combat spell on the Lunar spellbook. Players must set it as an auto-cast spell to use it.

A full staff holds 3,000 charges. Each attack uses one charge. When the staff runs out, it turns back into a polypore stick. It can be recharged with polypore spores and fire runes at level 80 Farming. When half the charges are gone, the staff loses much of its color.

The staff can only be traded when fully charged. It is a strong choice for players who want solid magic damage without spending runes on every cast.
