The polypore stick is a magic weapon in RuneScape 3. You need level 75 Magic to wield it. It is a main hand weapon with 110 accuracy and an attack range of 8 squares. It uses a spell-casting style and has average attack speed.
The main reason players want this stick is to make a polypore staff. With level 80 Farming, you can add 3,000 polypore spores and 15,000 fire runes to the stick to create the staff. Both hands must be free to do this, and you earn 300 Farming experience. You can also use the Assist System. The finished staff comes with 3,000 charges and casts its own spell, Polypore Strike, without using any runes.
The polypore stick is dropped by ganodermic beasts in the Polypore Dungeon. It is a members item and it is tradeable. It can also be disassembled for stave parts, magic parts, padded parts, powerful components, and imbued components, with a low base junk chance of 4.2%. If you want a cheap and strong magic weapon, this stick is the first step to getting one.
