Description
The pot lid is a members item in RuneScape 3. It is a small crafted item made from clay. Its main job is simple. You use a pot lid on an empty pot to make an airtight pot. Airtight pots are needed in the quests Swan Song and One Small Favour. You also need to make a pot lid after a cutscene at the start of the Back to my Roots quest, and one is used in the Mod Ryan trading sequence after reading the ancient scroll.
Making a pot lid takes level 25 Crafting. First, soft clay is shaped into an unfired pot lid on a potter's wheel. Then it is fired in a pottery oven. Each step gives 20 Crafting experience, but the lid can break in the heat. Buying one skips that risk.
The pot lid weighs 0.198 kg. It is tradeable and noteable. It can also be disassembled, most often giving Simple parts. Zombies in the Lair of Tarn Razorlor can drop it, and skeletons drop it as a rare item. Dismantling an airtight pot always gives one back.
