Description

Raw crunchies are a gnome cooking item in RuneScape 3. They are the base for all crunchies in gnome cooking. Players make them by using gianne dough on a crunchy tray. This needs level 10 Cooking and a members account.

Once made, raw crunchies can be baked in an oven or range to create half baked crunchies. Half baked crunchies are the starting point for preparing finished crunchies, such as toad crunchies. Note that raw crunchies cannot be cooked on the sulphur vents in Mor Ul Rek, unlike many other range foods.

Raw crunchies are tradeable and noteable, so they are easy to buy, sell, and store. They cannot be equipped and do not stack. Each one weighs 0.4 kg. When disassembled, they give 0.1 disassembly XP with a 98.9% base junk chance. They break down into simple parts most of the time, with a small chance of variable components.

This item is a good pick for players training Cooking through gnome recipes or working on gnome food for minigames. It saves time on making dough and trays, so players can jump straight into baking and preparing crunchies. Raw crunchies were added to the game on 12 December 2002.
