Description

Raw shrimps are the first fish players can catch in RuneScape 3. They need only Fishing level 1. Players catch them with a small net at net fishing spots. Each catch gives 10 Fishing experience.

Raw shrimps can be cooked at Cooking level 1 to make Shrimps, which gives 30 Cooking experience. They also work as food for a growing kitten. Cooked shrimp cannot feed a kitten, so the raw kind is the one to use.

Players with Divination level 16 or higher can transmute 3 raw shrimps into 1 raw trout. This costs 2 flickering energy and gives 3.6 Divination experience.

Raw shrimps are caught in many places. Fishing spots include Draynor Village, Lumbridge Swamp, Musa Point, Al Kharid, Catherby, Entrana, Rellekka, and the Barbarian Outpost. The Deep Sea Fishing hub has a swarm spot that needs level 68 Fishing.

Each raw shrimp weighs 0.12 kg. They are tradeable and can be noted. They can also be disassembled, giving mostly Organic parts with smaller chances of other parts and components. Raw shrimps are a simple, useful item for training and pet care in RS3.
