Description

Red chinchompas are stackable thrown weapons in RuneScape 3. They need level 55 Ranged to use. They are tier 55 with 673.8 ability damage, 983 accuracy, and a range of 9 tiles.

These weapons shine in group fights. Each throw sets off an explosion. It hits up to 9 enemies in a 3x3 area around your target. Each enemy takes 90 to 110 percent of your ability damage. This makes red chinchompas a top pick for training Ranged on packs of monsters.

Red chinchompas work well with abilities too. Abilities do not use them up, and damage over time effects spread to all targets in the area. If you die outside the Wilderness, you always keep them, whether they are equipped or in your inventory.

They can also be used with Invention. Combine 50 red chinchompas with 65 plated parts, 65 connector parts, and 5 living components at an Inventor's workbench to make 50 mechanised chinchompas. This needs level 50 Invention and gives 7,150 experience.

Red chinchompas are tradeable, stackable, and weigh nothing, so they are easy to carry in bulk.
