Description

The RS3 Ripper dinosaur (unchecked) is a farm animal for the Anachronia Dinosaur Farm in RuneScape 3. It is a members only item and it is tradeable. Ripper dinosaurs are varanusaurs, a type of fast and agile creature.

You need level 97 Farming to check this animal. That level cannot be boosted or assisted. Once checked, the ripper dinosaur can live in a medium pen on your farm. It eats raw meat and makes no muck.

Ripper dinosaurs give great rewards. Each one always produces 60 dinosaur claws. You can also sell the dinosaur to Laniakea, the buyer for varanusaurs. Breeding has a 70% success chance, with a cycle of 13 hours and 20 minutes.

Checking the animal gives big Farming XP. A child gives 5,500 XP, an adolescent gives 8,250 XP, an adult gives 16,500 XP, and an elder gives 24,750 XP.

This item is very rare to find in the game. It drops from ripper dinosaurs at a rate of 1 in 750. Buying one saves you a long grind and gets your farm growing faster.
