Description

The RS3 Ruby amulet (unstrung) is a piece of jewellery made with the Crafting skill. Players make it by using a gold bar on a furnace with a cut ruby and an amulet mould in their inventory. It needs level 50 Crafting and gives 85 Crafting experience. It is the highest level item that can be made with a ruby.

The unstrung amulet cannot be worn or used until it is strung. Use a ball of wool on it to make a ruby amulet, which gives 4 experience. Players can also string it with the lunar spell String Jewellery for 83 Magic and 4 Crafting experience.

Once strung, the ruby amulet can be enchanted into an Amulet of Strength. This uses the Enchant Level 3 Jewellery spell, which needs 5 Fire runes, 1 Cosmic rune, and level 49 Magic. It gives 59 experience.

This item is tradeable and noteable, and it works for both free-to-play and members. It can also be disassembled for parts like Delicate parts, Connector parts, and Smooth parts, with a rare chance of Precious and Enhancing components. It is a solid pick for Crafting training or making strength gear.
