The rune full helm + 3 is a tier 53 melee head armour piece in RuneScape 3. It is a rune full helm that has been upgraded three times at a forge and anvil. You need level 50 Defence to wear it.
This helm is tank armour for the head slot. It gives 185.6 armour and a 530 life points bonus. It also cuts damage by 1.06% against monsters and 1.9875% against players. That makes it a solid pick for melee training and mid-level combat.
The + 3 version is the top upgrade in the rune full helm line. It beats the base helm, which only gives 170 armour and 500 life points. Making one yourself takes level 50 Smithing and 8 rune bars added to a rune full helm + 2, with 16 rune bars used in total from the base helm.
The helm is tradeable, lendable, and noteable, and it weighs almost nothing at 0.04 kg. You can also combine it with other rune + 3 pieces at the Grand Exchange to form a rune armour set + 3, or turn it into a rune burial full helm for extra Smithing experience.
