The RS3 Runite stone spirit is an item that doubles your runite ore while mining. When you mine a runite rock with a stone spirit in your inventory, you get one extra runite ore. One stone spirit is used up for each extra ore you gain. This is a simple way to get more ore from every rock you mine.
Runite stone spirits are stackable and tradeable, and they weigh nothing. That means you can carry a large stack without filling your bags or slowing you down. They cannot be equipped, noted, or disassembled.
These spirits are also used as a crafting material. They go into recipes like the Powerburst of masterstroke (4) potion and the Ensouled moonstone. Two of them are also needed to build a device during the Desperate Times quest.
Stone spirits like this one replaced the old rune bar and runite ore drops from monsters in January 2019. If you plan to mine runite for Smithing or for profit, a stack of Runite stone spirits helps you gather ore much faster.
