The sapphire necklace is a piece of jewellery in RuneScape 3. It is the lowest level jewel necklace in the game. Players make it at a furnace with a gold bar, a cut sapphire, and a necklace mould. Crafting one needs level 22 Crafting and gives 55 experience.
This necklace is popular for training Magic. At level 7 Magic, players can cast the Lvl-1 Enchant spell on it. This turns it into a games necklace and gives 17.5 Magic experience. A Lvl-1 enchant tablet works too. Since a games necklace often sells for more than the necklace and a cosmic rune cost, this can make money and give Magic experience at low levels.
The sapphire necklace also helps with Divination. At level 6 Divination, it can become a sign of the porter I with 30 pale energy. At level 28, it can become a sign of the porter II with 35 bright energy.
The necklace is equipable, tradeable, and noteable. It weighs 0.01 kg and has no combat stats. It can also be disassembled for 6.6 Invention experience, with a chance for parts like delicate parts, precious components, and enhancing components.
