Description

The sapphire is a cut blue gem in RuneScape 3. It is used for training Crafting and Fletching. Free-to-play players can use it too.

With level 20 Crafting and a gold bar, players can make sapphire jewellery at a furnace. A sapphire ring can be enchanted into a ring of recoil, which deals some damage back to your opponent. A sapphire necklace becomes a games necklace, which can teleport you to certain places. A sapphire bracelet becomes a bracelet of clay, which lets you mine soft clay right from clay rocks. A sapphire amulet becomes an amulet of magic, which gives a magic strength bonus. Enchanting needs level 7 Magic and the Lvl-1 Enchant spell.

At level 56 Fletching, one sapphire can be cut into 12 sapphire bolt tips. Enchanted sapphire bolts have a 5% chance to trigger the Clear Mind effect, which steals 5% of the opponent's maximum prayer points.

Sapphires can also be disassembled for Invention. They give parts like clear, delicate, and smooth parts, plus precious, light, and faceted components. This makes the sapphire a handy gem for skillers, PvP players, and inventors alike.
