Description

The Scimitops (unchecked) is a dinosaur for the Anachronia Dinosaur Farm in RuneScape 3. It is a members only item. Check the animal to see what traits it has. Checking it requires level 104 Farming, and this level cannot be boosted.

Scimitops live in large pens on the dinosaur farm and eat raw meat. They produce Spark chitin and Muck. Every breed of scimitops makes 50 Spark chitin. There are 4 breeds in total: Scimitops, Scimitops palus, Scimitops blavum, and the shiny Scimitops lucidum. You can get the shiny breed by breeding scimitops, and traits like Sparkling, Glistening, and Radiant raise the odds.

An elder Scimitops in a large pen with a totem gives the Living Mountain perk. Tier 1 raises the chance to find a geode while Mining by 1 percent. Tier 2 raises it by 2 percent and needs elder animals in 2 pens with totems.

This dinosaur is a good pick for players who want to grow their Farming level, breed new dinosaurs, or gain a Mining boost. It is tradeable, so it works well for filling a pen fast.
