Description
The Sign of death is a pocket-slot item in RuneScape 3 that saves you when you die. It activates on its own and revives you with 15% of your base life points. It also strikes back at your killer. If the target is not immune to reflect damage, it deals 15% of the target's base life points, up to 10,000 damage. The damage type matches your weapon.
The sign has a one-hour cooldown shared with the Sign of life, the Portent of death, the Portent of life, and the Defence cape perk. The timer keeps running even when you are logged out. It does not work in PvP areas, except for Deathmatch. If you buy the Death's Support effect from Death's Store, the sign heals you for up to 30% of your base life points instead.
When the sign revives you, your potion effects and prayers stay active. Your adrenaline drops to 0%, and buffs like Berserk end.
Making this sign yourself takes level 79 Divination, 100 Elder energy, a Diamond ring, and the Fate of the Gods quest. Buying one skips all of that. The sign is tradeable, has no combat requirements, and works for any combat style.
