Description
Skeka's hypnowand is an off-hand skilling item for Hunter in RuneScape 3. You need level 80 Hunter to wear it. It once belonged to Skeka, a dragonkin of the Aughra faction, and it projects the will of the hunter onto their prey.
The wand has a passive effect called Aughran Gift. It raises your chance to catch whirligigs by 5%. It makes building and arming Big Game Hunter traps 20% faster, and this works after Quick traps. It also boosts the chance of meeting more than one dinosaur at once in Big Game Hunter.
The wand also gives a 5% chance to gain Hunter's Will when you collect a triggered box trap. Hunter's Will makes trappable creatures rush to new box traps for 19.8 seconds. It does not work with protean traps.
Skeka's hypnowand is members-only, tradeable, and weighs 0.8 kg. It has no combat stats. It can be disassembled and has a special chance to give Dragonfire components. This makes it a strong pick for players who want faster catches and better trips in Big Game Hunter.
