Buy RS3 Skull lantern (tier 90)

Description

The skull lantern (tier 90) is an off-hand Necromancy weapon in RuneScape 3. It is part of the Death Skull equipment set. Despite the name, it does not work as a light source. Its examine text calls it a conduit to the Underworld.

This lantern needs level 90 Necromancy to wield. It has 2458 accuracy and a range of 6. It attacks every 3 ticks, which is 1.8 seconds. It is also used to summon Conjures, a key part of Necromancy combat.

The tier 90 lantern is a members item. It is tradeable and noteable. Players make it at the Soul Forge in the City of Um. This needs level 85 Smithing, which can be boosted, and completion of Kili's Knowledge VII. The upgrade uses a tier 80 skull lantern, 5 greater ensouled bars, and 50 each of spirit, bone, flesh, and miasma runes.

A player must craft the lantern at least once before they can wield it. Buying a tier 80 lantern from another player and upgrading it is a faster path. The item can also be disassembled and has a special chance for Undead components.
