Description
Miasma runes are one of the four necrotic runes in RuneScape 3. Players use them with the Necromancy skill. They are needed to cast incantations like Life Transfer, Invoke Lord of Bones, Invoke Death, Darkness, and Split Soul. Split Soul is the highest, at level 92 Necromancy.
These runes do more than power spells. They are used to upgrade deathwarden and deathdealer robes to their highest tiers. They also help upgrade the death guard and the skull lantern. Ground miasma runes are a key ingredient in extreme necromancy potions.
Crafting miasma runes takes work. It needs level 60 Runecrafting, the Rune Mythos quest, and impure essence at the miasma altar in the Necromantic Rune Temple. Buying them saves all that time.
Miasma runes are stackable and tradeable, so they take up just one spot in the inventory. They can also be disassembled for Invention parts, mostly magic parts. Any player training Necromancy or upgrading their gear will burn through these runes fast. A big stack keeps spells ready and upgrades on track.
