Description

The Snapdragon seed is a members only Farming seed in RuneScape 3. You plant one seed in a herb patch to grow grimy snapdragons. You need level 62 Farming to plant it.

Each seed gives 87.5 Farming XP when planted and 98.5 XP for each herb picked. The crop takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to grow, split into 4 stages of 20 minutes each. Every planting gives at least 3 harvest lives. You can get more herbs by using better compost. The crop farmer outfit and master farmer outfit each give a small chance to save a harvest life.

Growing snapdragons can make a profit. Using ultracompost or the Fertile Soil spell helps stop disease and raises the average yield. A nearby gardener will not watch over a growing herb, so protection from disease matters.

Snapdragon seeds are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing. They can also be disassembled for Organic parts, with a small chance of Living components. Players training Farming or looking for steady herb profit will get good use out of this seed.
