The snape grass seed is a Farming seed in RuneScape 3. Players use it to grow snape grass in allotment patches. It takes level 80 Farming to plant, and each allotment needs three seeds.
Planting gives 175 Farming experience. Each snape grass you harvest gives 80 more experience. The crop grows in 3 hours and 20 minutes, over five stages of 40 minutes each. Each patch starts with 3 harvest lives. Compost adds more lives, up to 6 with ultracompost.
You can protect the crop from disease by paying a farmer 15 dwellberries. Planting a white lily or starbloom in a nearby flower patch also keeps it safe. There is even a 1 in 81 chance to get harmony moss with each harvest action.
Snape grass seeds are a smart pick for players training Farming at high levels. They give solid experience and a useful crop. The seeds are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing, so they are easy to keep in your bank until you are ready to plant.
