Description
Soft porcelain clay is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is the key material for making exquisite urns. Players use it at a potter's wheel to craft unfired urns for cooking, divination, farming, fishing, hunter, mining, runecrafting, smithing, and woodcutting. Making these urns requires Crafting levels from 102 to 110.
The clay can be mined at the Everlight porcelain clay mine at the Everlight Dig Site. This needs level 102 Mining and level 42 Archaeology. Soft clay comes from rocks next to the active water flow, and the flow moves from time to time. A sign of the porter works twice as well here, since it banks two pieces of soft clay for each charge used.
Players can also make it from regular porcelain clay. Adding water from any water source needs only level 1 Crafting. The Humidify lunar spell works too. It needs level 68 Magic, the Dream Mentor quest, and fire, water, and astral runes, and it can soften 28 clay at once.
The item weighs 0.907 kg. It is tradeable, noteable, and can be disassembled. Buying soft porcelain clay lets players skip the high Mining requirement and start crafting urns right away.
