Description
The Spellstorm drape is a low-level magic cape in RuneScape 3. It is the Magic version of the Arrowstorm drape for Ranged, the Bladestorm drape for Melee, and the Deathstorm drape for Necromancy. It is the best cape of its kind in free-to-play, so it is a smart pick for new mages who want a stat boost early on.
The cape has no level requirement, so any player can equip it right away. It is tier 10 Magic power armour and fits in the cape slot. It gives 5 armour, 5 damage, a damage bonus of 1.8, and an armour rating of 4.5. These small boosts help low-level mages hit harder and stay safer in fights.
The Spellstorm drape is tradeable, equipable, noteable, and can be disassembled for Invention. It weighs 0.453 kg. On death, it is always kept outside a dangerous area, so there is little risk in wearing it. In the game, it drops from troll brutes in the caves north of Burthorpe. It was added to the game on 31 January 2012, and free players have been able to wear it since 29 February 2016.
