Description
The Staff of Light is a two-handed magic staff in RuneScape 3. You need level 75 Magic to wield it. It has a tier of 75, with 1694 Magic accuracy and 1080 ability damage.
The staff has a strong rune-saving effect. When you cast a combat spell, there is a 12.5% chance it will cost no runes. That chance rises to 20% with combat robe armour and 50% with battle robe armour. The staff also works as a more accurate option than the slayer's staff for casting Slayer Dart.
Its special attack is called Power of Light. It costs 100% adrenaline and cuts all melee damage against you by 50% for one minute. The buff ends if you switch weapons.
You can recolour the golden parts of the staff to blue, green, red, or yellow by using it on Diango in Draynor Village. You can also add a wyrm heart to turn it into the stronger staff of darkness. In the game, this staff drops from ice strykewyrms, which need level 93 Slayer to kill. Buying it saves you that long grind.
