Description

Statius's platebody is a tier 80 melee body armour in RuneScape 3. It is classed as PvP armour. Players need 78 Defence to wear it. It gives strong defence and reduces the damage you take from other players in PvP fights.

This armour degrades as you fight. It lasts for 100,000 charges of combat, then it breaks apart. It cannot be repaired. In the game, it drops from Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon and from the Chaos Elemental. It is a very rare drop, so buying it saves a lot of time in the Wilderness.

You can make it even better. Use an ancient warriors' equipment patch to turn it into the superior Statius's platebody. That version is tier 88 and can be augmented with Invention. There is also a corrupt version that only needs 40 Defence, but it lasts just 15 minutes.

The platebody is tradeable and can be noted. Players who want it for Invention can also disassemble it for parts like Cover parts, Plated parts, and Deflecting parts. It is a solid pick for melee fighters who want strong PvP gear.
