Swamp paste is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is a tar-like substance mixed with flour and warmed. It is stackable and tradeable, so it takes up little space in your bank and inventory. It weighs nothing.

Swamp paste is used in many quests and minigames. You need it to rebuild the Temple of Mort'ton in the Shades of Mort'ton quest and minigame. It repairs the bank in the In Aid of the Myreque quest. It fixes leaks on the Fishing Trawler minigame and in the Cabin Fever quest. It also repairs the boat in the Sea Slug quest, helps in The Slug Menace quest, and fixes the Wise Old Man's roof in one of his tasks.

You can make swamp paste by mixing flour with swamp tar and cooking it on a fire, not a range. This gives 2 Cooking experience at level 1. It can also come from chests in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame or be bought from shops in Mort'ton and Port Khazard, from Charter ship employees, or from Rasolo.
