Description

The tombshroom spore is a seed used in RuneScape 3 Farming. You can plant one spore in a mushroom patch in Canifis, Isafdar, or the City of Um. Growing it needs level 109 Farming. The Isafdar patch needs the medium Tirannwn achievements, and the City of Um patch needs 80 Necromancy.

Each spore takes 4 hours to grow and gives 20 tombshrooms in one quick harvest. Tombshrooms stack, so they save bank space. Planting gives 650 Farming XP, and harvesting gives 9,032.4 XP. If you finish the elite Morytania achievements, your yield from all mushroom patches is doubled.

Tombshrooms have handy uses. They feed zygomites at the Manor Farm, where they turn into mushy mush in troughs. One tombshroom can also be added to an unfinished spirit weed potion to make a summoning renewal potion for 220 Herblore XP. Farmers will also watch a planted guarana tree if you pay them 11 tombshrooms, or 9 with the master farmer outfit.

Harvests can also give extras, like a gloomshroom zygomite egg or harmony moss. This spore is a smart pick for players training high level Farming.
