Description

The tortured soul is an item in RuneScape 3. It is used in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame. In the game, it only drops from Edimmu in Prifddinas. Both the level 122 and the elite level 125 Edimmu drop one at a time. The item is stackable and tradeable.

Players cremate tortured souls on a funeral pyre in Mort'ton. This needs elder pyre logs and level 95 Firemaking. Place the logs on the pyre, add the soul, then light it. Each cremation gives 550 Firemaking experience and 126 Prayer experience.

Wearing Morytania legs 3 or Morytania legs 4 makes the item even better. The legs give 50% more Prayer experience per soul. They also raise the chance of getting better shade keys. With the legs, the chance of a gold key is about 8%. Without them, a gold key is rare.

Tortured souls can also be disassembled. This gives Organic parts most of the time, with a small chance of Pious components. The bonecrusher does not crush these remains, so cremation is the way to use them. This item is a solid pick for training Firemaking and Prayer at once.
