If a player wants pure tank stats, blue dragonhide boots defend a bit better. For dealing damage with a bow or crossbow, Turoth boots are the stronger pick.
Turoth boots are a rare drop from turoths, so getting a pair by hunting can take a long time. Buying them saves that grind and lets a player gear up right away. They are light too, weighing only 0.453 kg.
