Description

The Varrockian red hen (unchecked) is a chicken for your player-owned farm in RuneScape 3. You need level 28 Farming to check it. Checking cannot be boosted or assisted. When you check the hen, you can see what traits it has.

This hen lives in a small pen. It eats seeds, vegetables, and fruits. When you check it for produce, it gives 10 feathers and an egg. Its breeding cycle is 1 hour, with a max cycle of 5 hours. You can breed Varrockian red hens by pairing chickens with a rooster.

The hen also gives good Farming experience as it grows. A baby gives 250 experience, an adolescent gives 375, an adult gives 750, and an elder gives 1,125. You can sell the hen to Henrietta, the chicken chaser, for beans. An adolescent sells for 40 beans, an adult for 34, and an elder for 28.
