Description
Virtus boots are tier 80 Magic power armour in RuneScape 3. They fit in the boot slot and need level 80 Defence and 80 Constitution to wear. The boots give 84.7 armour, a 12.5 damage bonus, 375 life points, and a Prayer bonus of 2.
The boots are part of the Virtus set, the Magic counterpart to Torva and Pernix armour. They drop from Nex, the boss of the Ancient Prison in the God Wars Dungeon, at a rate of 1 in 384. Wearing any piece of this ancient equipment makes non-Zarosian factions in the God Wars Dungeon stop attacking you, except for the generals and their bodyguards.
The boots degrade as you fight, losing two charges per hit, but they do not get weaker as they degrade. NPCs like Bob in Lumbridge can repair them for 100,000 coins, or you can use an armour stand in a player-owned house to pay less based on your Smithing level.
Fully charged boots can be broken down at a Dragonkin anvil into magic praesulic essence, which is used to make elite tectonic armour. The boots are members only and tradeable when fully repaired or fully degraded.
