Description
The watering can is a Farming tool in RuneScape 3. Players use it to water vegetables, flowers, and potted tree seeds. It does not work on other farming patches.
Watering a patch lowers its chance of disease for one growing stage. It does not change how much a patch yields. If fully grown flowers protect nearby vegetables, those vegetables do not need water. Watering potted tree seeds is required for the seed to sprout into a seedling.
The can holds up to 8 doses of water. When it runs out, players can refill it at any water source, such as a sink, water pump, or well. A bucket of water can also fill it all the way. Players can move water from one can to another by using one on the other.
Watering cans with the same number of doses stack in the bank. Only empty watering cans are tradeable, and cans with water in them cannot be emptied or sold to stores. The item is not members only, weighs 0.1 kg when empty, and can be disassembled. This simple tool helps keep crops healthy while training the Farming skill.
